Combining 30 years of climbing experience with managing injuries at the highest level of the sport, as the lead physiotherapist at both the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games.

I really enjoy working with people from all walks of life and levels of performance, both in person and remotely.

Hey, I’m Paul Houghoughi, also known as Huffy.

I began climbing at the age of 12 and I am still discovering how special it is 30 years later. After some brief moments being scared on a rope I focused my time on developing new boulders, with first ascents in every continent (except Antarctica!) up to v13.

My career in physiotherapy started in 2004 and includes the following highlights:

  • Lead Physio Team GB and Team Ukraine Climbing, Paris Olympics

  • Lead Physio Team GB Climbing, Tokyo Olympics

  • CASE accredited MSK Sonographer and University Lecturer on MSc Program

  • Leading MSK and Orthopaedics teams in the NHS as a Specialist Physio

  • Keynote Speaker: Orthopaedic UK / BSSH / BAHT / IFSSH / IFSHT & FESSH

  • Lead Physio with UFC contracted fighters, London Shoot Fighters.

In 2012 we relocated to live by the coast in Poole, Dorset, where I currently run a busy clinic as a Consultant Physiotherapist, treating people with a broad range of different backgrounds and injuries.

My career in remote physiotherapy began in 2017 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. My approach is always evolving to better serve you, the climber, and our beautiful, psyched community, which is the inspiration behind building this platform.
